Privacy & data

Privacy Policy

How Luna Games handles information across our website, games and support channels—and the choices available to you.

Effective and last updated: July 27, 2026
Website

No user accounts or contact form. Basic hosting logs and the embedded Steam widget are the main data touchpoints.

Games

Data practices depend on the title, platform, features and current publisher. The notice shown with that title also applies.

Advertising

Some mobile titles may use advertising or analytics partners. Platform permissions and in-game privacy choices apply.

Your choices

You may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your personal data.

1. Who we are and scope

This Privacy Policy describes how Luna Games ("Luna," "we," "us" or "our") handles personal data when you use a Luna game, visit gamesluna.com, communicate with us, or use another service that links directly to this policy (collectively, the "Services").

The Luna entity identified in the relevant game, store listing, contract or communication is responsible for the processing described here. If a Service presents an additional or more specific privacy notice, that notice supplements this policy and controls for that Service if the two differ.

This policy does not cover employee or job-applicant data, nor does it replace the privacy policy of a third-party platform, publisher or service that independently determines how your data is used.

2. Games operated by another publisher

Some games displayed on our website may have been developed by Luna but are currently published, distributed or operated by another company. That company may control advertising, analytics, accounts, support, purchases and other live-service data for its version of the game.

Check the current store listing.

The developer or publisher named on the store page—and the privacy policy linked there—is the best source for the current data practices of that particular title. This Luna policy applies only to processing that Luna actually controls.

3. Information we handle

The information involved depends on which Service you use. We may handle the following categories where they are needed for the relevant title or feature:

  • Contact and support information: your name, email address, message, attachments, country, game version, platform and any player or transaction identifier you choose to include when contacting us.
  • Device and technical information: device model, operating system, language, region, time zone, app version, browser type, IP address, connection information and technical identifiers.
  • Gameplay and usage information: game progress, settings, session events, achievements, feature interactions, approximate session length, advertising interactions and other information about how a Service performs or is used.
  • Diagnostics: crash reports, error logs, performance data, loading times and information needed to identify and fix technical problems.
  • Platform and device identifiers: a Steam, Apple or other platform identifier; app-instance or device identifier; and, where available under your settings and applicable law, an advertising identifier.
  • Purchase information: the product purchased, transaction or receipt identifier, currency, purchase status and information required to validate or restore a purchase. We do not receive your full payment-card number from an app store or game platform.
  • Privacy choices: consent status, age or eligibility signals, advertising preferences and requests you make about your data.
  • Website records: requested page, date and time, referrer, browser details, IP address and similar security or delivery logs generated by our hosting provider.

We do not ask you to send sensitive information through general support email. Please do not send passwords, full payment-card details, government identification or unrelated health or financial information.

We may create aggregated or de-identified statistics. Where this information can no longer reasonably identify a person, it is not treated as personal data unless applicable law requires otherwise.

4. Where information comes from

We may receive information:

  • directly from you when you contact us or make a request;
  • automatically from the game, website, device or browser you use;
  • from a game platform, app store or connected service when necessary to provide a feature or validate a transaction;
  • from publishers and service providers that operate a Service with or for us; and
  • from advertising, analytics, security or diagnostics partners where a title uses those services and the collection is permitted.

5. How we use information

We use personal data as reasonably necessary to:

  • provide, operate and maintain the relevant game or website;
  • save settings or progress and enable platform features such as achievements, where supported;
  • validate purchases, restore entitlements and prevent payment fraud;
  • respond to support, privacy and business enquiries;
  • diagnose crashes, measure performance, balance gameplay and improve our Services;
  • understand aggregate use, measure campaigns and, where applicable, provide or measure advertising;
  • protect players, investigate abuse, enforce our terms and prevent fraud, cheating, tampering or security incidents;
  • comply with law, legal process and regulatory requirements; and
  • establish, exercise or defend legal claims and protect our business, users and partners.

We do not use personal data to make decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you solely through automated processing.

7. Advertising, analytics and third-party SDKs

Some mobile games may include advertising, attribution, analytics or crash-reporting software supplied by third parties. Depending on the title and your choices, these partners may process device or advertising identifiers, IP address, app interactions, ad impressions, approximate location derived from IP address and diagnostic information.

The exact partners and data practices can change when a game is updated or transferred to another publisher. Review the current app-store privacy disclosure, in-game consent screen and the publisher’s privacy policy for the title you use.

You can commonly manage advertising and analytics by:

  • using the privacy controls shown in the game;
  • changing tracking or advertising permissions in your device settings;
  • resetting or limiting your device’s advertising identifier; and
  • purchasing a "remove ads" option where offered.

A remove-ads purchase may stop the display of ads but does not necessarily stop operational, security, purchase-validation or diagnostics processing needed to run the game.

8. Platforms, accounts and purchases

Steam, Apple and other stores or gaming platforms operate their own accounts, storefronts, payment systems and platform services. They process information under their own terms and privacy policies. Luna normally receives only the information needed to provide the game, confirm an entitlement, restore a purchase, investigate a support issue or use a platform feature.

If you request a refund, account change or platform-level data action, you may need to contact the platform directly because Luna may not control the relevant account or payment record.

9. Website, cookies and embedded content

The Luna Games website does not currently offer user accounts or a contact form, and Luna does not currently run first-party advertising or analytics cookies on it. Our hosting provider may create basic server logs to deliver, troubleshoot and protect the website.

The homepage includes an official Steam store widget. Because the widget is loaded from Valve, Valve may receive technical information and use cookies or similar technologies according to its own settings and privacy policy. Links to Apple, Steam and social-media services take you to services we do not control.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser. Blocking third-party cookies may prevent embedded content from displaying or working normally. The website itself does not currently use browser "Do Not Track" signals for a separate preference because it does not conduct behavioural advertising.

10. How we disclose and share information

We may disclose the relevant categories of information to:

  • Service providers: companies that provide hosting, cloud storage, diagnostics, analytics, customer support, security, attribution or other technical services.
  • Advertising partners: where a game displays or measures ads and applicable permissions allow the processing.
  • Platforms, publishers and distribution partners: when they distribute, operate, fund or support the relevant title or provide a requested platform feature.
  • Professional advisers: auditors, insurers, lawyers and other advisers subject to appropriate duties.
  • Authorities and other parties: where reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or respond to valid legal process.
  • Business transaction parties: in connection with a proposed or completed merger, financing, investment, reorganisation, sale or transfer of a game or business asset.
  • Parties you direct us to: when you request or consent to a disclosure.

We do not sell personal data for monetary payment. However, privacy laws in some US states define "sale," "sharing" or targeted advertising broadly. If a Luna-operated Service engages in activity covered by those definitions, we will provide the legally required notice and opt-out method for that Service.

11. Data retention and deletion

We retain personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose described in this policy. The period depends on the type of data, the Service, whether a relationship remains active, technical and security needs, limitation periods and legal recordkeeping duties.

  • Support correspondence is kept while resolving the request and for a reasonable period afterwards to maintain context, prevent abuse and handle follow-up issues.
  • Technical and security logs are kept for the period reasonably needed to operate, diagnose and protect the Service.
  • Purchase and accounting records may be kept longer where tax, fraud-prevention or other law requires it.
  • Game or platform data is kept while needed to provide the feature and may be controlled by the current publisher or platform rather than Luna.

When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it, unless continued retention is required or permitted by law. Deletion from backups may occur on the next scheduled backup cycle. Third-party platforms and publishers apply their own retention schedules, so a request to Luna does not automatically delete information they independently control.

12. Security

We use reasonable administrative, organisational and technical safeguards designed to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful loss, misuse, alteration, disclosure or access. We limit access to people and providers who need the information for an authorised purpose.

No transmission, device, service or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Please protect your platform credentials and contact us if you believe information connected with a Luna-controlled Service has been compromised.

13. International data transfers

Luna, publishers, platforms and service providers may process information in Türkiye, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, the United States and other countries. Those countries may have privacy laws different from the laws where you live.

Where required, transfers are supported by an adequacy decision, contractual safeguards such as standard contractual clauses, consent or another legally recognised mechanism. You may contact us for information about safeguards applicable to processing that Luna controls.

14. Children’s privacy

Our Services are generally intended for the audience shown in their applicable store age rating. We do not knowingly collect personal data from a child below the minimum age required by applicable law without appropriate authorisation from a parent or guardian.

A game available to a broad audience may use an age screen, restricted data collection, contextual advertising or other protections for younger users. The current publisher and platform may provide additional child-specific disclosures and controls.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child provided personal data to Luna without the required permission, email us with the game title and platform. We will review the request and delete Luna-controlled data where appropriate. Please do not send a copy of the child’s identification unless we specifically request a necessary and lawful verification method.

15. Your privacy rights and choices

Depending on your location and subject to legal exceptions, you may have the right to:

  • know whether we process your personal data and request access to it;
  • correct inaccurate or incomplete personal data;
  • request deletion or restriction of processing;
  • object to certain processing;
  • receive certain data in a portable format and ask that it be transferred where technically feasible;
  • withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing;
  • opt out of targeted advertising, sale or sharing where those rights apply;
  • appeal a decision or complain to the competent privacy authority; and
  • exercise your rights without unlawful discrimination or retaliation.

To make a request about data Luna controls, email contact@gamesluna.com with the subject Privacy Request. Include your country, the game or Service, platform, and the relevant player or transaction identifier if available. Do not send your password or full payment-card information.

We may ask for information reasonably necessary to verify your identity, authority and the Service involved. We will respond within the period required by applicable law. We may deny or limit a request where an exception applies and will explain that decision when legally required.

If another publisher or platform controls the relevant data, we will direct you to that company where reasonably possible.

16. Regional privacy disclosures

Türkiye

Where Türkiye’s Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (KVKK) applies, you may have the rights set out in Article 11, including learning whether personal data is processed, requesting information, correction or deletion, and objecting to certain results of processing. You may also have the right to apply to the Personal Data Protection Authority under the conditions established by law.

European Economic Area and United Kingdom

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, the legal bases described above govern Luna-controlled processing. You may have rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, as well as the right to withdraw consent and lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

United States

Residents of California and certain other states may have rights to know, access, correct or delete personal information and to opt out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising where the relevant state law applies to Luna and the processing. You may also be entitled to use an authorised agent and to appeal certain request decisions. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

17. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our Services, partners, legal obligations or data practices change. We will post the updated policy on this page and revise the effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice through the relevant Service or another appropriate channel where required.

We encourage you to review the current policy and the app-specific disclosure whenever you install or update a game.
